About This Blog

This blog is primarily dedicated to the reasons for my deconversion from Christianity to atheism and skepticism. I tend to cover topics such as cognitive biases and how to overcome them, absurd or immoral Christian doctrines, the harm caused by various forms of superstition and pseudoscience, and why the God of classical monotheism is generally unlikely.

The main purpose of this blog is to serve as a personal resource. One of the best ways to really learn something is to summarize it in your own words, and I do a lot of that here—although I come up with plenty of my own arguments as well.

Of course, there's another very important purpose: to serve as a resource for others. This blog will probably never be particularly popular, and that's fine. But if I can aid even a few people in gaining a better understanding of atheism, Christianity, evolution, skepticism or any other topic, I'll be honored and proud to have helped.
